I thought I should show the internets my face! |
worst habit ever: eating when watching tv,it became a habit and I still feel like I should be eating something, heck anything whenever I am watching tv or even watching videos online!! |
My mom, is not in the country and I miss her because she really supports me and sometimes walks me to the gym! Yup, my mother is that awesome! It really helps when the people around you are being supportive, so thanks to my older sister Mercy who measures me, my lil brother Zack who always asks if what I am eating is the right choice and option.

10 KILOGRAMS IN 3 MONTHS CHALLENGE WEEK 4
My first pair of skinny jeans, I bought these when I was 16. Mama's coming back baby!! |
That is the amount of fat I lost this week. |
I was not expecting any great results but I have lost 0.5 kilos, that's 1.1 pounds. To be honest with you, this for me is a great loss! 3 chocolates bars at 545 calories and 33grams of fat! And all the excess eating I have been doing! Its not my fault, I am at my weakest when Aunt Flo is here!!
Over all I have lost 4 kilos in 4 weeks! I have lost 9 pounds in a month! Me, myself and I. Moi. I am so proud of myself. And the best bit of it all is that I am not starving myself, I am just making good healthy choices and working out at the gym 5 days a week.
My reaction at my scales |
START CURRENT
Bust: 40 inch(DD's, that I lurrrvvv) 38 inches -2
Waist 35 inch 31.5 inches -3.5 inches
Hips:47 inches 43 inches -4 inches!!!
92.4 kg 88.4 kg
I added an extra measurement; my belly, this is exactly on my belly button and I am 34 inches. I will measure myself after 2 weeks, I really want my flat belly back, but baby steps, let me try and bring it down a couple of inches first. I am still working at 800 calories per gym session and I know use 25 kg weights for my abs and 30 kg weight for my leg press and 15kg for my arms.
If anyone has any health tips or would like to join me, please let me know.

MINX NAILS FROM PRIMARK
You have no idea how hard it was to photograph these nails and get a good shot, sorry, this is the best my Nikon could do. Primark have been upping their beauty game lately and a result are these minx-style nail foils. I bought them ages ago from Primark in Leicester and they must have been a pound.
These little bad boys lasted a week and some extra days, application was simple, just peel off and apply to clean dry nails. Then using a hair dryer on high heat the glue is activated and sticks. I used a nail file to file off the extra end bits.
The last minx manicure I had I paid £30 and it lasted two weeks so I am kind of impressed with the durability of the Primark version. I also got ones from Topshop for my birthday last year, Ive been keeping them for a special occasion but Im pretty sure they last just as long.
P.S. I washed the dishes five times that week!
SAY BYE BYE TO EYEKO NAIL POLISHES!
AAAAAARRRGGGHHH! I cant believe that this is happening! Eyeko will no longer be stocking their nail polishes! Wow! I wonder why because I believe their nail polishes were their best sellers! I am definitely going to buy extra bottles of saucy nail polish, it is my most favourite red ever!! If you have any faves now is the time to stock up before they completely sell out.

10 KILOGRAMS IN 3 MONTHS CHALLENGE WEEK 3
My sister's breakfast, so freakin tasty. |
I like how they tell you EXACTLY what you are eating |
Hot baby buttered potatoes should have been the right choice right? Nope I had the seasoned chips instead! Bad I know. But I have missed my chips and they tasted soooo gooood! I did also have a sauce, I could not believe how high in calories some if the sauces were! Jack Daniels is 100 kcal, and I know TGIFriday soak their food in this sauce, and the burger relish was 150 kcal! I opted for the salsa;20kcal.
After that we watched a movie, stupid Cineworld offer the tinniest most stupidiest size of small popcorn, I ended up with the large! I didn't buy any drinks, I had my 1litre of water in my bag! Bahahaha! Saw transformers 3, it was awsome, except Rosie's acting skills, which are super bad. I did not have supper when I got home, I finished my large popcorn for supper! I still eat my carbs, just in minimal amounts, this isnt above straving myself, its healthy living people!!
The gym and I are really getting along, I am enjoying myself, starting this week I have upped my calorie burn from 700 to 800 because I am worried that my body is getting used to the 700 burn and as a result I will stop losing weight. So for the next 2 weeks it is a lovely 2 hr 800 calorie burn with 3 weight training sessions.

10 KILOGRAMS IN 3 MONTHS CHALLENGE WEEK 2
that is what 92.4 kilograms looks like |
To the good tasty carbs!! |
But hey, I got 10 more weeks and I am on schedule, I can bloody do this. I do not cut out all my carbs, just the bad ones full of refined sugar. I do eat oats, muesli, coconut( it is mega high in fats, so I have this on/off, and 1 tsp only) and wholemeal bread. So none of the fluffy white devil stuff!!
I have fallen in love with the gym, I can believe I am saying this but I am actually looking forward to working out. And yes, I am still doing 5 days a week, 700 calories burn. The awesome girl at the gym told me I was on the right track and its so good that I am committed to it. Having someone, anyone support is really necessary, there are times when I have left the house at 8, even though the gym closes at 9:45, motivation is really needed, remind your family/friends to keep pushing you, otherwise you wont go far and may quit before you reach your goal.
I am could be a really skinny African Elephant |
I also measured myself, something I should have done at the start of this, I am currently measuring at
Bust: 40 inch(DD's, that I lurrrvvv)
Waist 35 inch
Hips:47 inches
My main goal are my clothes and I need to lose 5 inch on my waist to fit into my jeans before my birthday. My goal this week is to count my calories and keep them under the 1200-1500 mark using an app on my ipod called My fitness pal, it is a calorie counter and tells you how many calories are in your food, the correct portion size, the amount of nutrients. It is a better version of weight-watchers online! Till next week!

15% OFF AMERICAN APPAREL
Personally I do not shop in American Apparel because
1. Their clothes are waaay out of my budget.
2. Their sizing is almost annoying and frustrating, how the hell am I am XXXXXXXL?
3. Its owner is always being accused of sexual harassment, and there is no smoke without fire (Af moment!)
4. The company's advertising campaigns are borderline pornographic, who am I kidding? They are! Reference to the knickers poster that had a lady doing a "Playboy full frontal" with her lady carpet showing!! Nasty, just plain nasty.
Good thing is that all products are made in the good old US of A and sweat shops are not used. You can use the code INSIDEAA online only until the 8th of July. No minimum amount spend requirement, not applicable on sale items. Enjoy shopping.

10 KILOGRAMS IN 3 MONTHS CHALLENGE WEEK 1
1 pound of fat |
I lost 1.6 kilograms!! That's 3.5 pounds in my first week!! I cant believe it, and I used two different scales just to be on the safe side of life. Its been really hard, going to the gym 5 days a week, the hardest bit I think is getting out of my bedroom. I have enjoyed the aftermath, seriously when you work out you feel so good afterwards, you get such a mega release of endorphins!
This week I have gone to gym 5 times, each time working out a minimum of 700 calories. This is from 50 mins on the treadmill, which is elavated, if you have a treadmill that changes the angle you are walking on, use this function! It works well with your behind, how do I know, apart from the numbness of my bum, there are massive sweat patches under the curve of my bottom. It does looks a bit wrong but hey, I know its working. One of the girls who works at my gym told me that I should interchange and vary my excerise routine and not just stick to running as the body gets used to running and burns less calories. Therefore I set the goal of 8km on the stationary bike,6km on the crosstrainer or 100 calories burn on the rowing machine. I think I will put in that step machine thingy this week.
Having a hard time dealing with less carbs! My body wants bread, pasta, rice and chocolate, dammit!! |
The food I am eating is pretty cheap, actually it is mega cheap! I went to ASDA (I am a student with no job) and bought 10 cans of kidney beans 16p at each, 2 cans of vegetable soup at 20p, a kilogram of frozen chicken breasts, which were £3.99, a bottle of jalapeno peppers at £1.89( I lurve jalapeno peppers), two kilograms of frozen vegetables at £1 each, 15 eggs at £1. I also went to Tesco and bought their value brand of porridge oats which is priced at 75p for a kilo and two packets of Tesco Lighter Choices Soup for 46p each, so roughly I spent £12! And I still have a lot of food left over, except the eggs because I have two for breakfast almost everyday. I don't think I will go food shopping this week, and the garden, I planted lettuce, kale, onions, green beans and tomatoes are almost ready to harvest. I have the lettuce for lunch everyday. So having a little garden is a great help. Hopefully I will keep up with my gym and making good healthy eating choices and I will be back in my skinny jeans by Sept.
Does anyone else have any weight loss advice, please do comment!
