URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE

Its sooo pwetty...

I am in love, this has to be the eyeshadow palette the world has to offer. I got it at Debenhams  because you can collect points on the Debenhams Beauty Reward Card, I am collecting for the Boxing day sales, I have my eye on Victor and Rolf Flower bomb perfume gift set.
I am in love with Half Baked and Smog

It is all neutral eye shadows, 12 FULL SIZE neutral colours, 4 of which are exclusive to the palette. It covers all the basics, colours are in matte, shimmer, satin and sparkle. The first naked palette had a dual eyeliner, in black ad brown but the company could not meet the demand so they decided to substitute the eyeliners with a good karma eyeshadow brush, which is £16.

The eyeshadow palette also comes with a travel sized urban decay primer potion, which I have been wanting to try out for ages! The primer potion is literally AMAZING! It has changed my eye shadow life! Seriously it is such a great product, it does make your eyeshadow colour last really long and the colour...i die, eyeshadow colour is more vibrant and you do not need to apply a lot of eye shadow which in turn saves money.

The good karma brush, in my opinion is better than the 24/7 eyeliners that was in the original palette set.  It is such a great brush, it picks up enough product, it is mega soft and I just cant say enough good things about the brush. The brush is £16 and the set is sold at £32, which covers half the price of palette.

Naked palette was released last year in June and I liked it then but I was a bit worried that the colours would not show on dark skin tones, boy, was I wrong!! This palette works amazingly well for black women!! ALL colours are flattering on black skin, buy this palette instead of buying tons of MAC neutral eye shadows. You will not be disappointed, trust me.

FREE SHIPPING AND GIFT WITH ELF

ELF are really pushing promotion huh? The only thing complaining about it is my bank account balance, which I have not checked in months. I am such a financial wimp, don't judge me! This just popped up in my email and ELF are offering free shipping which is usually the same price of a brush, and to tempt us more they have included a free gift, a shimmer eyeliner pencil in grassy green.

If you want to buy something I strongly advise the powder brush, which I will be repurchasing. ELF is really affordable and I don't think any of the products sold are over £7, the offer ends on midday on the 27/06/2011. The code is GREENUK for UK customers, GREENEU for European customers and GREENIT for Italian customers. Enjoy shopping

10 KILOGRAMS IN 3 MONTHS CHALLENGE

goodbye, gourmet burger with jalapenos and chilli sauce
My mother is always telling me to set goals and have them written down somewhere so that you can reflect on them and see if you have achieved those goals. Well Mummy, I am FINALLY listening to you, this is the part where I rant about how I let myself go due to emotions (hello, round of depression), I say how heavy I am (92 g by the way) and blah blah blah blah...

On to the good bits, I have decided to lose 10 kg (I grew up using kilograms, I prefer them to stones and pounds, which just sound heavier), which is 24 pounds in 3 months. Why 3 months, because my birthday 23 Sept is exactly 3 months from now. I worked it out and I need to lose 2 pounds or 1 kilo a week. I know its almost impossible but hey 12 weeks is a long time.
Goodbye macaroons. I shall miss you :(

I am doing this for one reason only, well 19 reasons, 19 pairs of size 14 jeans that I can no longer fit. My main wardrobe does not fit me and I want it back, I miss my skinny jeans dammit!!
Goodbye, wait, who am I kidding? This is the tastiest drink known to man, I'm not giving it up!

I will try to lose a kilo by working out 5 days a week, yes I have NO social life! And eating 1200-1600 calories a day, because 3500 calories is a pound and if I burn 700 calories every gym session (1 hr on treadmill and 45 mins on cross trainer) then that would be my 1 pound gone, and if I eat about 1200-1600 calories every day then my extra pound is telly bye-bye. So this is me, mum, writing my goals and checking on them weekly.
P.S. If anyone would like to join the challenge then PLEASE email me, misery loves company.

Goodbye dominos pizza, I shall crave your cheesy goodness

H&M SALE

Order value is £80.95, I paid £38.05
Being the broke little kitten that I am, I have not been shopping but I can break down and hand over my card because it is my favourite type of sale, the June/July summer sale. Boxing day/New years sale does not count as much because they are selling autumn/winter collection, plus you really only buy perfume because of the gift boxes.

My favourite store to shop this sale would be....H&M! No surprise there, but online shopping is waay better because the prices of the clothes are cheaper online and many of the dresses are still being sold at the full price in store! And you get £5 off, which covers the delivery charge when you use this code 1304 and you also get 25% off one item when you use this code 8964. I saved £9 off my shopping and the discount was applied on sale items which you will not get to use in store.

I know that the H&M website has been attacked about how shitty and useless it was and the company listens and upgraded the whole thing. Its way easier to navigate, shop and view clothing. Lets hope they have increased on their customer service as well, cant wait to receiver my parcel. Enjoy shopping.

TOPSHOP OUTLET STORE

The store was seriously stocked
Now we all love Topshop and the ever so stylish clothes that the store provides, we all however, do not like the ever increasing price of those clothes.  I mean £50 for a sheer maxi skirt? Someone call the police because I feel like I am being robbed. Thankfully Topshop has an outlet/clearance store in Edgware and the best part is EVERYTHING IS BUY ONE,GET ONE FREE!

I went there this afternoon and the place was overstocked! I think most of the items in store are last years autumn/winter collection. It is flowing with sweaters, jerseys, ponchos and heavy suede shorts and skirts. Living in Britain means at least three quarters of the year, it will be wet and windy so there will be a constant use for warm clothing. And they are stocked in all sizes from 6 to 16, and they also have footwear, jewellery and underwear. The prices are so reasonable and affordable plus there is always a second item that is free of charge.

The store's address is posted below, I get there via the Northern Line that terminates at Edgware, it is the last stop so you cannot miss it. You come out of the station and turn left, walk towards the bus station, and then walk out and you will see the shopping centre. Topshop is to your right. Enjoy shopping.

MAC FACE AND BODY FOUNDATION REVIEW

MAC face and body foundation, shade N12
My first ever liquid foundation, excuse me whilst I burst with pride. I went to MAC with my cousin and with 20% off I got my first liquid foundation. This foundation requires the highest praise, it is soo light you wont even know it is there, and it has such a natural sheer finish to it! It is water based so it does take a couple of minutes to set but it also means it wont clog your pores or cause breakouts. It has a squeeze thing so you dont need a pump and it is easy to get the right amount of foundation. It last really long, I can put it on at 8 in the morning and come home at 10 and it will still be there, I can work out at the gym and all I have to do it put a setting powder and all is well. Face and Body works amazingly well in photographs, it just looks like you have no foundation on. Its great in natural and artificial light so it could be your daily and going out foundation.

N12 swatch
It is really easy to blend and the coverage is light to medium but it is build-able. It is great for all skin types whether you have oily, dry or combination skin (hello, shiny t zone). Although only 11 shades are sold, they do match perfectly, my shade is N12 (I am NW50) and is NOT available online or in any MAC store, it is only available at Pro MAC stores. In my opinion I find that the make up artists at the Pro store in Carnaby street are the most helpful. I would honestly say this is the foundation to buy , and the price is pretty decent too £23.50 for 120 ml.

75% OFF RUBY AND MILLIE

Ruby and Millie are a cosmetic company that are found only in Boots, apparently they may either have financial problems or the company may be ceasing to exist because ALL of their products in Boots are being marked down.
Look at my purple seal, checking out my new brush
And I am talking massive savings, nothing it over £5! Yesterday I bought a foundation brush that is valued at £12 for a cheap and very cheerful £3! Saving of £9, all of the products are marked down including their foundations, brushes and eye shadows so please pop into Boots and grab them whilst you still can because Boots will no longer be stocking Ruby and Millie and I doubt that the company will be saved by Superdrug.

ELF POWDER BRUSH REVIEW

So I recently purchased my first liquid foundation, I feel so grown up. I bought MAC's Face and Body Foundation in N12, and as we all know application of foundation is just as important as choosing the right shade. And after hours on end searching online for the best affordable brush I came across ELF.

ELF means eyes, lips and face and is a cheap cosmetic company that I have fallen head over heels in love with. Especially the powder brush, it works amazingly well, the foundation just blends in so well it looks like second skin. And the best part is the price! It is only £3.50 and from the reviews I have seen on makeup alley and youtube, it does last long. I have had mine for two months now and it has not shed at all!! It dries up really quickly after washing, and I use it to apply my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural and my liquid foundation.

The only problem I have heard of is that it soaks up liquid products more but in my opinion its better if you spot foundations over your face than to pore over your hand and pick up product and then apply. I definitely recommend this brush, it is so soft and does its job so very very well!

ELF are doing a quick promotion with free delivery for British and European clients so I am buying two more extra brushes because they do sell out really quickly. Hurry up though it expires pretty soon. You can buy my beloved brush here

Look at what popped into my inbox this morning, an "i missed you" email from urban outfitters. For those who prefer rocking the indie/hipster look UO should be your home planet. They have a bunch of great random things, I bought my headphones in the shape of skulls from UO, and the jewellery is pretty cool stuff too. And if you need a jewellery box or stand then UO is definitely the place to go, they have some under a tenner. The 20% code is WELCOMEBACK (as if I went anywhere). Enjoy the shopping I am off to try and blag(cry) my way into getting a new ipod touch at the Apple store in Covent Garden.

These shops are really trying to take whats left of my student finance, sorry asos but its not working with me. Only because I do not have an NUS card, but my lil' brother has one...hmmmm. Anyways its students only, again, you could use a friend's card but asos do run random checks. I like how they say kick-start your summer when hailstones were falling from the sky three days ago. Then again this is the Great British summer!
PS. they have FREE WORLDWIDE delivery.

20% OFF MISS SELFRIDGE SUMMER ESSENTIALS

So if you are like a certain friend of mine, and are going somewhere nice and sunny for holiday then it would definitely be advised to shop from the collection as it has tons of shorts, summer dress, summer shirt and bikini sets. Personally I am just waiting for the July sales to begin, am saving the last bit of student finance for that.

20% OFF TOPSHOP STUDENTS ONLY

I need this shoes in my life, yes 5 inch heels, yes I am 6 feet tall.
The title speaks for itself, this week til the 4th of June Topshop will be offering 20% off students with valid student ID intore and online. Plus the website has introduced a cool new feature where you can locate items in specific stores which is pretty cool and you can now read reviews about products that Topshop sells. All online stores should do this!! I like how customers are really giving honest reviews about the product, such as shoes being too small or straps breaking too easily. Good one Topshop, now if you could just lower your prices, that would be very nice. And in other news, I need a job!
